Associate Director of Place Delivery & Integration

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust

Uxbridge, England, UK

**Job Overview** Hillingdon Place is establishing a Place Integrator Team to protect and improve delivery capability, organisational memory and system coordination. The integrator team is deliberately lean: it enables delivery across organisational boundaries rather than duplicating provider operational, corporate or programme functions. The Associate Director of Place Delivery and Integration will act as the senior integrator supporting the Place Managing Director. The postholder will provide whole\-system delivery leadership, executive coordination, governance support, performance grip, escalation and partnership management across Hillingdon's Place programme. The role will be central to maintaining momentum across neighbourhoods, reactive care, discharge, specialist mental health, hospital\-to\-community transformation and the new hospital redevelopment trajectory. Main duties of the job The postholder will work at senior level across Hillingdon Health and Care Partners to translate agreed Place priorities into practical delivery, ensuring that responsibilities, risks, dependencies, milestones and escalations are clear across partners. The role will maintain a shared view of delivery progress and performance, line managing the BI Lead and Light\-touch Delivery/PMO Lead and ensuring that analytical insight, programme controls and escalation routes operate as a coherent Place integrator function. It will ensure that issues which cannot be resolved within individual programmes or organisations are surfaced and progressed through the appropriate Place, partner or system route. This is not an operational director role and does not directly manage provider services. Its value lies in integration, coordination, grip, assurance, senior deputising capacity and the ability to secure executive follow\-through across organisational boundaries. Working for our organisation The postholder will be working in the the Core team of the Place\-based Partnership. The team is friendly and supportive, enjoys hybrid working opportunities, and encourages innovation and self development. **Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities** **Senior Place integration and delivery leadership** * Act as senior integrator and principal delivery support to the Place MD across agreed Hillingdon Place priorities. * Deputise for the Place MD in their absence, representing Place in agreed forums, maintaining continuity of senior decision support and ensuring urgent issues are escalated appropriately within delegated authority. * Provide cross\-system leadership to maintain delivery grip across neighbourhoods, reactive care, discharge, specialist mental health and agreed hospital\-to\-community transformation priorities. * Turn strategic intent and Board decisions into clear delivery actions, ownership, milestones and escalation routes. * Work with partners to maintain alignment between local Place priorities, W\&NL ICB requirements, the London Neighbourhood Health framework and the Hillingdon new hospital redevelopment trajectory. * Protect continuity of delivery and organisational memory during transition from the former Borough Team arrangements. **Executive coordination and partnership management** * Coordinate executive follow\-through across Place partners, ensuring that agreed actions are progressed and barriers are surfaced rapidly. * Build and maintain senior relationships across NHS providers, local authority, primary care, VCSE, ICB teams and wider system partners. * Broker solutions where issues sit between organisational boundaries, using influence and structured escalation rather than direct line authority. * Support the Place MD in preparing for, following up and assuring key discussions with partner executives and system leaders. * Represent and speak on behalf of the Place MD in agreed meetings and system discussions when required, ensuring the Place position is clear, consistent and aligned with agreed governance. * Promote a culture of shared ownership, transparency, delivery discipline and constructive challenge across the partnership. **Performance Grip, Assurance And Benefits Realisation** * Work with the BI Lead to maintain a shared understanding of pathway performance, outcomes, risks and benefits across Place priorities. * Use data and operational intelligence to identify delivery risks, unwarranted variation, emerging pressures and opportunities for improvement. * Ensure that benefits realisation arrangements are proportionate, credible and linked to agreed Place outcomes, including urgent and emergency care, discharge, neighbourhood delivery and hospital redevelopment assumptions. * Prepare concise, evidence\-based assurance products for Place governance, partner boards and system forums. * Ensure that performance concerns are translated into practical recovery actions with named owners and timescales. **Governance, risk and escalation** * Support effective operation of Place governance, including agenda shaping, action discipline, risk escalation and decision follow\-through. * Oversee the Place delivery risk and dependency picture, ensuring that material issues are escalated at the right level and not left within individual organisational silos. * Work with the PMO Lead to maintain proportionate programme controls, delivery plans, milestone reporting and action tracking. * Ensure that decisions requiring partner approval, formal governance or financial sign\-off are routed appropriately and supported by clear evidence. * Maintain clear boundaries between Place integration, provider operational management and statutory organisational accountability. **Transformation and programme delivery** * Provide senior delivery oversight across agreed Place transformation programmes, ensuring that workstreams are coherent, sequenced and aligned to the operating model. * Support SROs and workstream leads to unblock delivery barriers, clarify dependencies and maintain pace. * Ensure that transformation priorities are connected to the integrated operating model, including neighbourhoods, reactive care and specialist pathways. * Contribute to development of investment cases, delivery propositions and partner\-backed funding or hosting arrangements where required. * Support mobilisation of new arrangements, handovers and implementation plans following partner decisions. **People, leadership and management** * Line manage the BI Lead and PMO Lead, ensuring clear objectives, supervision, appraisal, workload prioritisation and professional development in line with host organisation policy. * Operate as a senior role model for collaborative system leadership, maintaining credibility with clinical, operational, corporate and executive colleagues. * Support development of a high\-performing, inclusive and delivery\-focused Place team culture. * Provide matrix leadership to wider Place integrator, programme and delivery support capacity as agreed through the host organisation and Place governance, ensuring clarity of role, purpose, priorities and reporting routes. * Comply with host organisation policies on people management, appraisal, supervision, health and safety, information governance and equality, diversity and inclusion. **Role boundaries and decision\-making parameters** * The postholder will not directly manage provider services, replace provider operational directors or hold statutory organisational accountability on behalf of partner organisations. * The role will not duplicate the technical BI function, finance and contracting leadership or provider PMO structures. Bending Spoons

Cambridge, England, UK

At Bending Spoons, we’re striving to build one of the all\-time great companies. A company that serves a huge number of customers. A company where team members grow to their full potential. A company that functions at unparalleled levels of effectiveness and efficiency. A company that creates value for shareowners at an extraordinary rate. And a company that does so while adhering to high ethical standards. In pursuit of this objective, we acquire and improve digital businesses, not to sell on, but to own and operate for the long term. The transformations we make are often deep—designed to speed up innovation, benefit customers, and strengthen business performance. Here, hierarchy is minimal and teams are small and talent\-dense. We operate established products with the ambition, agility, and urgency of a startup. Across the company, we integrate AI deeply into how we work so that human judgment and machine intelligence reinforce each other. For a talented, driven, and collaborative individual, working at Bending Spoons is an opportunity to learn, make an impact, and progress their career at an exceptionally high rate. That’s our promise to such a candidate. **A few examples of your responsibilities** * **Investigate.** Build a deep understanding of your product, its business model, and the drivers behind its growth. Use AI, data, and user research to quickly uncover meaningful opportunities and challenge assumptions. * **Innovate.** Combine user insights, market signals, and emerging technologies to identify high\-impact initiatives and features. Use modern tools, first\-principles reasoning, and your creative insights to explore solution spaces quickly and sharpen product thinking. * **Execute.** Turn ideas into impactful features. Prioritize ruthlessly, using data to focus on what truly moves the needle. Own the development process end\-to\-end, coordinating designers, engineers, and other teammates to build solutions that address users’ most important needs. * **Iterate.** Use experimentation and product metrics to understand what works and what doesn’t. Treat every project as a learning loop, using insights from past work to improve the product continuously. **What we look for** * **Reasoning ability.** Given the necessary knowledge, you can solve complex problems. You think from first principles, and structure your ideas sharply. You resist the influence of biases. You identify and take care of the details that matter. * **Drive.** You’re extremely ambitious in everything you do—and your initiative, effort, and tenacity match the intensity of your ambition. You feel deeply responsible for your work. You hold yourself to a high—and rising—bar. * **Team spirit.** You give generously and without the expectation of receiving in return. You support the best idea, not your idea. You're always happy to get your hands dirty to help your team. You’re reliable, honest, and transparent. * **Proficiency in English.** You read, write, and speak proficiently in English. **What we offer** * **Incredibly talented, entrepreneurial teams.** You’ll work in small, result\-oriented, autonomous teams alongside some of the brightest people in your field. * **An exceptional opportunity for growth.** We go to great lengths to hire individuals of outstanding potential—then, our priority is to put them in the ideal position to thrive. Spooners in their 20s lead products worth hundreds of millions of dollars. And if you’ve got what it takes, you’ll soon be playing an essential role in major projects, too. * **All. These. Benefits.** Flexible hours, remote working, unlimited backing for learning and training, top\-of\-the\-market health insurance, a rich relocation package, generous parental support, and a yearly retreat to a stunning location. We help each Spooner set up the conditions to do their best work. * **Competitive pay and access to company equity at a discounted price.** Typically, we offer individuals with limited experience an annual salary of £85,797 in London and €66,065 elsewhere in Europe. For a candidate that we assess as possessing considerable relevant experience, the salary on offer tends to be between £112,189 and £250,512 in London, and €107,837 and €188,848 elsewhere in Europe. Compensation varies by location and expected impact, and grows rapidly as you gain experience and translate it into greater contributions. For individuals who demonstrate exceptional capability, we may offer compensation that extends beyond the usual ranges to reflect their higher expected impact. If you're offered a permanent contract, you'll also be able receive some of your pay in company equity at a discounted price, thus participating in the value creation we achieve together. If relocating to Italy, you may enjoy a 50% tax cut. **Commitment \& contract** Permanent or fixed\-term. Full\-time or part\-time. **Location** Milan (Italy), London (UK), Madrid (Spain), Warsaw (Poland), or fully remote from eligible countries. **The selection process** In our screening process, we prioritize verifiable signals of excellence, regardless of seniority. There are no preferential paths beyond what your application demonstrates, and we evaluate every candidate through the same process. Some people hold back because they feel they lack experience or have an “imperfect” CV. If you like the role and believe you could excel over time, don’t self\-reject. All applications go through our careers page, which is the only way to be considered. If you pass our screening, you’ll be asked to complete one or more tests. They are challenging, may involve unfamiliar problems, and can take several hours. To learn more about what to expect throughout the selection process, you can find additional information here. We set the bar high and won’t extend an offer until we’re confident we’ve found the right candidate. This is why a job may remain open for months or be reposted several times. We consider all applicants for employment and provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities—please let us know through this form. **Before you apply** If you’ve applied before but didn't receive an offer, we recommend waiting at least one year before applying again. Bending Spoons is a demanding environment. We’re extremely ambitious and we hold ourselves—and one another—to a high standard. While this tends to lead to extraordinary learning, achievement, and career growth, it also requires significant commitment. To help you ramp up quickly and set yourself up for success, we expect you to spend most days in our Milan office during your first few months with us, regardless of your long\-term work location. It’s the best way to rapidly absorb our company culture and build trust with your new teammates. We’ll support you with generous travel and accommodation assistance. After that, you’re welcome to work from one of our offices, or remotely from approved countries—depending on what we agree at the offer stage. If the role speaks to you and you’re excited to give your best, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now—we can’t wait to meet you.

Lyrebird Health logo

Bid & Contracts Manager

Lyrebird Health

Location not specified

**The Role** Lyrebird is scaling fast \- more NHS Trusts, more enterprise health tech partners, and more complexity in every tender, contract, and framework we touch. This role sits at the centre of that growth: you'll be the person who turns opportunities into signed, well\-structured commercial agreements, and who keeps our contractual house in order as we grow. You'll co\-own bid drafting with our commercial team, manage our framework compliance (SBS, DPS, and similar), handle EPR partnership and revenue share agreements, keep our T\&Cs current against a fast\-moving regulatory backdrop, and build the systems that make our contracts audit\-ready at any moment. This role suits someone who's equal parts meticulous and commercially minded, someone who can sit alongside a founder or commercial lead drafting a bid one day, then untangle a revenue share clause or update an NDA the next. You'll enjoy the mix of structure and ambiguity that comes with building process from scratch inside a fast\-growing health tech company, and you'll take real pride in knowing that when due diligence comes knocking, everything's exactly where it should be. **About Us** Lyrebird Health is transforming the quality and accessibility of healthcare by automating clinicians' most time\-consuming tasks. Thousands of clinicians across multiple disciplines use Lyrebird every day in environments where accuracy, safety, and time matter deeply. Everything we build is grounded in earning trust, reducing cognitive load, and delivering meaningful impact at scale. **What You'll Do** * Co\-formulate initial bid drafts for tenders, working closely alongside the Sales team * Own and continuously update all appendices used across bids, ensuring they're accurate and current * Manage Lyrebird's framework requirements and submissions, including SBS, DPS, and similar public sector frameworks * Draft and complete EPR\-related contractuals, including partnership agreements and revenue share agreements * Maintain and update UK T\&Cs for both Enterprise and SMB contracts, keeping pace with clinical safety, AI regulation, and medical device security changes * Maintain a live tracker of all enterprise renewal dates, flagging upcoming actions in good time * Build and maintain a business case template for use across the commercial team * Keep Lyrebird's NDA up to date and aligned with current legal and commercial standards * Organise and maintain all contracts on the shared drive, ensuring full P\&L pack readiness **What You'll Bring** * Experience in bid management, contracts management, or commercial operations, ideally in a regulated or health tech environment * Strong working knowledge of UK public sector procurement frameworks (SBS, DPS, or equivalent) * Comfort drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, including partnership and revenue share structures * Excellent organisational skills and a genuine appetite for keeping complex, ever\-changing documentation accurate and current * The judgement to work independently while flagging the right things to the right people at the right time * Clear, precise written communication **Nice to have** * Experience working with NHS Trusts or within NHS procurement processes * Familiarity with EPR (Electronic Patient Record) partnerships and integration agreements * Exposure to due diligence processes ahead of a funding round * Legal, paralegal, or contracts qualification background Every contract you tighten and every framework you clear is one less barrier between a clinician and the tools that give them their time back. The work you do here doesn't just keep Lyrebird compliant, it keeps us moving fast enough to reach the clinicians who need us. We're building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. If you're from an underrepresented background in tech, we strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet every requirement.
