Technical Author (Mechanical Engineering)

Overview

3di has been providing outsourced technical documentation services for over 20 years to global companies and technology businesses. We're delivering services to a manufacturer in the semiconductor industry and need a Technical Author with experience in mechanical engineering, based in Scotland, for an upcoming project (initial six-month contract).

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Has recent hands-on mechanical engineering experience.
• Can translate engineering requirements into clear, structured technical documentation.
• Is confident working with engineering teams to define and document manufacturing and assembly processes for externally produced equipment.
