Managing Editor (Digital Content) | $61/hr Remote

Position: Writers and Authors

Type: Part-time, Contract

Compensation: $49 - $61/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate and edit AI-generated content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Develop and implement training materials and datasets aimed at enhancing narrative structure and linguistic quality for AI models.
• Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to provide actionable feedback for iterative AI training processes.
• Identify and analyze patterns in AI outputs to improve model performance and reduce errors.
• Conduct research on current writing trends and best practices to inform AI training strategies.
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Have proven experience as a writer, author, editor, or in a related role, supported by a strong portfolio of published work.
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and nuance.
• Be familiar with AI, machine learning, or digital content creation tools.
• Demonstrate the ability to critique, revise, and enhance both long-form and short-form content.
• Have excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities, particularly in a remote work environment.
