Senior Conference & Content Producer - Health & Wellness
Strategy Institute
Job Description
Lead Canada's Premier Health & Wellness Event
Fully Remote | Travel Required for Live Events
Strategy Institute is holding an ambitious Health & Wellness event, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Conference Producer to help build it.
This is not a typical conference producer role.
You'll help create one of Canada's premier health and wellness events by developing compelling conference content, recruiting world-class speakers, building industry relationships, and helping establish a year-round thought leadership platform.
If you're entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and passionate about creating exceptional live experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
You'll own the research and development of the conference by:
- Developing a compelling, multi-track conference agenda.
- Researching industry trends, emerging topics, audience needs, and commercial opportunities.
- Recruiting leading physicians, researchers, founders, executives, wellness experts, creators, and innovators.
- Building advisory boards and cultivating relationships with industry leaders.
- Conducting market research through interviews, industry calls, competitor analysis, and conferences.
- Working closely with marketing, sponsorship, delegate sales, audience development, and operations teams to deliver a successful event.
- Supporting speaker management before and during the conference.
Help Build More Than a Conference
We're creating a year-round content platform, not just an annual event.
Working alongside our Community & Content Marketing team, you'll help identify compelling stories, expert voices, and thought leadership opportunities that become:
- LinkedIn content
- Podcasts
- Webinars
- Newsletters
- Articles
- Speaker interviews
- Short-form video
Every speaker conversation should become both an outstanding conference session and valuable content for our growing community.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of conference production experience.
- Experience producing commercial conferences, summits, or large-scale live events.
- Strong research, interviewing, and agenda development skills.
- Experience recruiting high-profile speakers, expert contributors, and advisory board members.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of what drives delegate attendance and sponsorship value.
- Excellent communication, positioning, and stakeholder management skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving launch environment.
An interest in health, wellness, longevity, preventative health, fitness, nutrition, women's health, recovery, mental wellbeing, healthy aging, or wellness innovation is a significant advantage.
Why Strategy Institute?
For more than 30 years, Strategy Institute has produced industry-leading conferences that connect executives, innovators, and decision-makers across North America.
This event represents our next major growth initiative, and you'll play a key role in shaping it from day one.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Build a flagship event.
- Work directly with senior leadership.
- Build relationships with leading health and wellness experts.
- Influence conference strategy, content, agenda direction, and market positioning.
- Help launch Canada's next premier health and wellness event.
