Role Overview:
This is a role for someone hungry to drive growth. It’s a new role for the business focused on driving our biddable media agenda, with full ownership of forecasting through to delivery and trade analysis.
This is not your standard performance media role, as you’ll be a key stakeholder in bringing together teams, ensuring best in class platform execution. We’re looking for someone who can connect product and creative learning into meaningful outcomes across our channels, ensuring growth is driven with consumer empathy and understanding at heart.
What you will own:
- Own and deliver the performance marketing approach internally, ensuring cross team alignment and education
- Own forecasting against business metrics, and creation of KPIs for the channels which you’ll be accountable for
- Own trade reporting for performance marketing, through to contribution impact and incrementality
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on Campaign Monitoring: Instructing the setup and optimisation of campaign architectures inside Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Pinterest via our performance marketing agency
- Account hygiene: Lead account restructures where required, partnering with our performance marketing agency
- Creative Asset Performance Auditing: Evaluate fit-for-format asset performance across digital channels and brief internal design teams on specific technical hooks and ad formatting variants
- First-Party Data Integration: Partner with internal CRM specialists to deploy first-party data and CRM segment integrations for custom audiences and exclusion targeting
- Product Feed Optimisation: Take technical ownership of the e-commerce product catalog feed within marketing. Restructure custom labels, titles, descriptions, and product types within the feed to align with high-volume search intent and maximise product led revenue
- Cross-Functional Data Pipelines: Collaborate with the Trade Analyst to eliminate manual tracking processes, replacing them with automated dashboards and robust multi-touch attribution models
- Funnel Alignment: Partner with the internal e-commerce team to align paid media tests with on-site experiments, ensuring consistency along the entire conversion funnel.
- Measurement: Ensure short and long term measurement are considered throughout the media buying process, with a deep understanding of incrementality
- Merchandising alignment: Be obsessed with the consumer journey, from ad served through to on-site performance, working with the e-commerce team.
- Reporting: Provide clear and actionable spend impact reporting to ensure alignment of investment with product and trade requirements. Ensuring teams understand ‘why’ changes/optimisations were made, not just ‘what’ optimisations were made
- Market understanding: Ensure market data such as Google Trends and Similarweb are used to give a broader understanding on market potential and risk.
About You
We are looking for someone who combines commercial sharpness with genuine performance marketing expertise — someone who can think strategically and also roll their sleeves up when it counts.
- Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of deep technical experience in paid search or paid social , including at least 2 years of direct team management. Direct experience in retail, fashion, or premium DTC environments is required
- Platform Mastery: High-level technical expertise in Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager interfaces (Certification required)
- Analytics Capabilities: Proven track record utilising web analytics platforms, cohort data, and attribution tracking to make rapid commercial decisions
- Cross-Functional Matrix Skills: Demonstrated capacity to communicate complex technical data or performance changes clearly to non-technical stakeholders across creative and commercial functions
- Global Context: Previous experience running campaigns across international retail regions or working within a global brand structure
- Marketplace understanding: Extensive knowledge of the marketplace, with experience in all major social media platforms
- Testing mindset: Strong understanding of creative testing and performance-focused messaging, as well as a deep understanding of incrementality measurement and studies
