JOB TITLE : International Market Insights

LOCATION : Bristol, BS2 0RA Office-based - 1 day a week WFH after probation

CONTRACT : Permanent - Full-time (37.5 hours/week, Mon to Fri)

SALARY : £28,000 gross per annum + Bonus

THE JOB

The International Market Insights will provide analytical and market understanding support to the International Sales Team. The role combines business reporting, market analysis and strategic research to help identify growth opportunities, risks and emerging trends across global healthcare simulation markets.

Working closely with the International Sales Manager, Regional Sales Managers and distributors, the successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of country-level dynamics, customer behaviour, healthcare investment, educational trends and government policies that influence purchasing decisions around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Reporting &​ Analytics

  • Produce weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
  • Analyse sales trends by product, territory, distributor and customer segment.
  • Support forecasting and pipeline analysis.
  • Monitor key performance indicators across international markets.
  • Create dashboards and management reports for senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities and risks through data analysis.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor healthcare simulation, medical education and clinical training markets globally.
  • Develop country profiles for priority markets.
  • Track competitor activity, product launches and market positioning.
  • Research healthcare spending, education funding and simulation adoption trends.
  • Identify emerging markets and growth opportunities.

Government &​ Policy Monitoring

  • Track healthcare, education and procurement policies affecting target markets.
  • Assess the impact of government funding changes on customer purchasing behaviour.
  • Monitor regulatory and political developments relevant to medical simulation.
  • Prepare briefing papers on significant policy changes.
  • Support market-entry assessments for new countries.

Strategic Projects

  • Support annual territory planning exercises.
  • Contribute to five-year commercial planning activities.
  • Assist in distributor evaluations and market reviews.
  • Support business cases for new product launches and market expansion.
  • Conduct ad hoc strategic research for the senior leadership team.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and distributor partners.
  • Participate in international sales meetings.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the commercial team.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

  • Degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, Data Analytics, Politics or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Excel and data manipulation capability.
  • Ability to interpret and present complex information clearly.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Curiosity about international markets and global business.
  • Interest in sales

Desirable

  • Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, medical education or life sciences sectors.
  • Foreign language skills.
  • Research or analytical internship experience.
