About the role

STORIES Parfums is a multi-award-winning, gender-inclusive luxury niche fragrance house. We create fine fragrance and a complete perfumed collection spanning fragrance, bodycare and candles, crafted in Grasse, France and rooted in Ireland.

Our mission is to create fragrance and experiences rooted in science, soul and story — inviting people to reconnect with themselves through scent.

We are looking for an Ecommerce, Growth &​ Retention Manager to own the commercial performance of our online business across acquisition, conversion and retention.

This is a hands-on commercial role with direct responsibility for online revenue, customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value.

You will report directly to the Founder &​ CEO.

What we are looking for

  • Strong ecommerce or DTC experience, with responsibility for revenue, growth or retention
  • Hands-on Klaviyo experience across flows, campaigns, lifecycle strategy and segmentation
  • Strong Shopify capability and a clear understanding of ecommerce performance
  • Working knowledge of paid advertising across Meta and Google
  • Experience managing external agencies and holding them accountable for commercial results
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce UX and conversion
  • Good knowledge of SEO, organic search and digital discovery
  • Experience with Pinterest as a commercial discovery channel is advantageous
  • Commercial confidence across CAC, LTV, conversion, contribution margin and channel economics
  • Strong analytical, measurement and forecasting capability
  • Comfortable setting targets, reviewing performance and acting on the data
  • Hands-on in execution, while able to brief and manage external partners where required

Experience growing subscription and loyalty programmes is desirable, as is experience within beauty, fragrance, luxury or premium consumer goods.

What you will ownEcommerce growth &​ trading

  • Own the ecommerce growth plan and performance against agreed revenue targets
  • Forecast weekly and monthly performance
  • Monitor conversion, average order value and other key commercial measures
  • Own the trading and promotional calendar
  • Recommend action where performance differs from plan
  • Balance revenue growth with margin, customer value and long-term brand positioning

Retention &​ CRM

  • Own Klaviyo across flows, campaigns, segmentation and lifecycle strategy
  • Grow repeat purchase, purchase frequency, retention revenue and customer lifetime value
  • Develop subscription, loyalty and refill as commercial retention channels
  • Build and run structured testing across retention activity

Acquisition &​ organic growth

  • Set paid media strategy, budgets and performance expectations across Meta, Google and other relevant channels
  • Manage our external paid media agency and hold it accountable for commercial performance
  • Own customer acquisition cost and assess performance against lifetime value and contribution margin
  • Own organic search growth, including SEO strategy and search visibility
  • Develop Pinterest as a commercial discovery and acquisition channel
  • Identify opportunities across partnerships, co-marketing and other relevant acquisition channels
  • Own email list growth and the quality of contacts acquired

Measurement &​ reporting

  • Own ecommerce measurement, attribution and tracking integrity
  • Maintain a clear performance dashboard across acquisition, conversion and retention
  • Report against agreed KPIs, forecasts and growth targets
  • Bring clear commercial analysis and recommendations to the Founder &​ CEO
