An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the progressive and innovative Medical Education team at Royal Papworth Hospital as a Clinical Skills Trainer. We are seeking a highly motivated and well organised clinical professional who brings strong practical abilities and a genuine passion for teaching clinical skills. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic educational environment and is committed to supporting the development of future medical professionals.
About The Role As a Clinical Skills Trainer, you will work closely with a multi disciplinary team of Clinical Educators and Medical Education Teaching Fellows to deliver high quality clinical skills training for undergraduate medical students from the University of Cambridge. You will play an important role in shaping the learning experience of students in Years 4, 5, and 6, helping them develop the competence and confidence needed for safe and effective clinical practice.
Our programmes make extensive use of medical simulation and involve working with simulated models as well as real patients. Experience in simulation based education is welcome but not essential.
The post offers opportunities for professional development in education, simulation, and assessment.
