Role Overview

This role sits within Wipro’s UK Finance Transformation Consulting practice and focuses on leading large scale Finance Strategy and Finance Transformation initiatives for Property &​ Casualty Insurers. The Manager will work closely with finance leaders to design and deliver finance operating model changes, modernise finance platforms (Oracle ERP and SAP), and improve financial close, controls, reporting, and insight across complex insurance environments.

This role is also expected to support the growth agenda, provide thought leadership and be the trusted advisor (in a business development, transformational and delivery capacity) across the following areas:

• Finance Strategy
• Global Business Services (GBS)
• Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
• Finance Technology and Process Automation
• Provide pull through opportunities for wider Wipro Consulting practice areas (Supply Chain &​ Operations, Sales &​ Marketing, AI Advisory &​ Tech Strategy, People &​ Change, Sustainability)

The role will report into the UKI Head of Finance Transformation Consulting.

Key Responsibilities

Client &​ Delivery

• Own end to end delivery of insurance finance programmes including target operating model design, roadmap definition and execution governance.
• Drive Record to Report, Financial Close, FP&​A and Management Reporting transformation within regulated insurance environments.
• Act as the escalation point for delivery risk, governance and stakeholder alignment.

Insurance Finance Focus

• Apply deep understanding of insurance finance data flows including premium, claims, reinsurance, reserves and actuarial inputs.
• Drive simplification and standardization across complex insurance finance landscapes.

Transformation Platforms

• Lead finance platform transformations with strong emphasis on Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM and FCCS, alongside SAP S/4HANA where required.
• Shape and deliver business cases for finance modernisation programmes.
• Oversee close acceleration, automation and controls improvement initiatives.

Skills &​ Experience

Core Capabilities

• Significant experience in finance strategy and transformation within the insurance sector (P&​C preferred).
• Proven leadership of large scale finance transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of insurance finance processes including Record to Report, Financial Close and FP&​A.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle ERP and/or SAP finance transformations.
• Experience operating in regulated and auditdriven environments.
• Understanding of key CFO driven business metrics and linking with process driven operational KPIs.

Finance Process Expertise

• Record to Report and Financial Close optimisation.
• FP&​A aligned to insurance metrics such as loss ratio, expense ratio and combined ratio.
• Order to Cash including premium billing and bordereaux processing.
• Procure to Pay including claims suppliers and reinsurance partners.

Digital Finance &​ Tools

• Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM and FCCS.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience working with Finance software vendors both in go to market activities, design and implementation of the technology and surrounding processes and change management (e.g. BlackLine, High Radius, FIS, etc.)
• Good understanding of Process intelligence and platforms like Celonis, Signavio, etc.
• Finance platform integration with upstream policy and claims systems.

Thought Leadership

• Contribute to insurance finance thought leadership and client viewpoints.
• Support development of differentiated insurance focused finance transformation propositions.
• Represents Wipro Consulting with credibility and professionalism in client forums, industry conversations, and market facing engagements.
