Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Clinical Governance Manager to join the quality governance team at Whipps Cross Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced governance professional to play a key leadership role in driving quality, safety and continuous improvement across the hospital, embedding a culture of learning, transparency and openness in everything we do.
The Clinical Governance Manager will provide leadership, oversight and assurance across a range of quality governance functions at Whipps Cross Hospital. The postholder will play a key role in delivering the hospital’s clinical governance framework, supporting continuous improvement in patient safety, experience and clinical quality.
Working across hospital and divisional teams, the postholder will lead on complaints management, risk processes, and implementation of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), ensuring learning is embedded and translated into measurable improvements. The role will also support regulatory compliance, including Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, inspections and external assurance processes.
