Head of AI | Hybrid/Remote (UK) | Up to £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits

You’ll take ownership of the AI function, leading an established team of AI and ML Engineers and helping shape how AI and GenAI solutions are delivered for major and global customers.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an engineering-led AI leader who can combine technical leadership and people management with client-facing and consulting experience. You’ll remain close enough to the technology to challenge teams, support delivery and help drive technical excellence.

This isn’t just a leadership role behind the scenes; you’ll be a visible, trusted partner to clients, contributing to solution design, pre-sales and the delivery of complex AI programmes.

Stack: LLMs, AI Agents, Agentic AI, RAG, MLOps, LLMOps, Machine Learning

What do you need?

• Strong experience leading AI/ML engineering teams within a consulting environment
• Proven experience building and deploying AI and GenAI solutions
• Strong understanding of LLMs, AI Agents, Agentic AI and RAG
• Experience with MLOps and modern AI engineering practices
• Pre-sales, solution design and consulting experience
• Genuine engineering background with the ability to challenge technical teams
