Global Paper Hygiene Manufacturer
Go out and win major new customers with brands such as Andrex® and Kleenex® behind you…
Then use that success as the platform to take the next step within a global giant!
This is a true, autonomous national New Business Development role.
You'll be given the freedom to identify the biggest opportunities across the country, open the right doors and build your own strategy for turning them into major new customers.
And you'll be doing it with one hell of a platform behind you.
You'll represent one of the world's largest hygiene manufacturers, taking some of the most recognised brands on the planet, including Andrex® and Kleenex®, into major multi-site organisations across the UK & Ireland.
Your job is simple…
Find them. Open them. Win them.
You'll have the brands, resources, distribution network and global manufacturer behind you.
And just like your line manager, who has had 7 promotions during her career here… the opportunities for career progression are truly unlimited…
--------------------------------
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a 100% full new-business focused position.
You'll identify, develop and win large national and multi-site end users across the UK & Ireland, primarily targeting opportunities worth £150,000+.
Your prospects could sit across Facilities Management, Contract Cleaning, Hospitality, Contract Catering, QSR, Healthcare, Care Homes, Foodservice, Manufacturing, Leisure, Education and much more…
Once you've won and onboarded the customer, you'll hand them across to the Strategic Account Management team to develop long-term.
Then you move onto the next one.
You'll engage directly with end users while working alongside their chosen distribution partners to deliver the solution.
--------------------------------
Your Progression
Career development isn't a fluff word here.
Your hiring manager in this role is proof of it…
She joined the sales team in 2003 and has since progressed through seven different roles, developing her career to where she is today - leading the whole End-User sales channel within this business.
Her journey is exactly what the company's Focused Development Plan (FDP) is designed to achieve.
Every employee has a structured development plan built around their own career ambitions, with the support, coaching and opportunities to keep moving forward.
So while you'll be joining as a National New Business Development Manager, that doesn't have to be where your career finishes.
Whether your ambitions eventually take you into larger strategic roles or Sales Leadership, you'll be joining a business with a proven track record of developing its people from within.
And her 20+ year journey through the business, as well as various others in the wider team, is proof of what's possible when you want to keep progressing.
--------------------------------
Your New Home
You'll be joining the professional division of one of the world's largest hygiene product manufacturers.
Their products are trusted daily by organisations across Facilities Management, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Hospitality and Commercial workplaces throughout the UK and beyond.
The business is entering an exciting new chapter following a recent acquisition, with significant investment and change taking place across the commercial function.
You'll join a dedicated New Business Development team, working alongside five Regional BDMs and another National BDM.
--------------------------------
What You Need To Apply
You need to be a proven new business hunter, and able to evidence that you've personally opened and won multiple £200k+ new-business opportunities.
Just as importantly, you will already have strong senior relationships with large end users that you can bring into the role.
You could currently be selling cleaning chemicals, hygiene systems, machinery, washroom solutions, PPE, workwear, catering disposables, packaging, infection control or other facilities-related products.
Paper hygiene experience isn't essential.
What matters is your ability to win large, complex, multi-site end-user contracts.
You'll be home-based, ideally between the South West/South East, Midlands and Manchester/Liverpool, with national UK & Ireland travel when required.
