This is an exciting opportunity to lead the marketing and communications for one of the University of Warwick’s largest and most innovative academic departments. The successful candidate will lead a team of around 20 marketing and communications professionals, who deliver campaigns, content and collateral to support student recruitment, engage industry partners and attract research funding. The role is broad and varied, protecting and building a brand that has led collaboration between industry and academia for 45 years. It carries responsibility for all aspects of strategic communications, digital channels, events and paid activity, as well as membership of WMG’s senior leadership team.
About You We’re looking for an experienced marketing and communications leader. The successful candidate will have a breadth of experience and skills covering communications, digital, brand, events and paid media – they will know how to integrate different channels and activities to maximise impact to a variety of audiences. They will have excellent leadership skills: able to bring out the best in a highly-skilled team, providing direction and clarity of priorities; they’ll also be able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from academics to fellow professional service personnel.
