Vice President — Principal Investments
We are working with Family office focused on principal investments across the full capital structure, from equity to distressed products.
It is a Highly opportunistic by mandate, it invests proprietary long-term capital across a broad range of sectors and geographies, unconstrained by a conventional fund structure. Its portfolio includes globally recognised consumer brands. The firm keeps a deliberately low profile and operates from several major financial centres
The Opportunity
A Vice President to take a central role in originating, executing and managing principal investments. The role offers meaningful ownership across the transaction lifecycle, direct access to senior decision-makers, and the flexibility that comes with investing proprietary capital. Well suited to an investor who thrives in an unstructured, opportunity-led environment
Key Responsibilities
- Execute investments across the capital structure, from screening to completion
- Build financial models, valuations and returns analyses to underpin decisions
- Lead due diligence on complex, often cross-border situations
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to senior principals
- Support portfolio management and value creation, including consumer-facing assets
- Contribute to proprietary origination across sectors and geographies
Candidate Profile
- Investment banking background, ideally followed by private equity, fund or family office experience
- Consumer-facing sector experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead transactions across the capital structure, with strong modelling skills
- Comfortable operating with autonomy in an entrepreneurial setting
- Commercially astute, discreet, and strong academic credentials
