SciPro is partnered with one of the UK's fastest-growing AI healthcare startups, building intelligent software that is transforming how hospitals manage operational and administrative workflows.

Following significant funding and rapid customer growth across the NHS, they're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to build and deploy AI-powered products directly alongside customers, solving complex operational challenges within healthcare.

This is a highly autonomous, customer-facing engineering role where you'll own projects end-to-end, from understanding real-world operational challenges through to designing, building and deploying production-ready AI solutions.

You'll spend time working directly with healthcare customers, partnering closely with product and engineering teams to ensure customer feedback continually shapes the platform.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and deploy full-stack AI applications used within healthcare environments.
• Develop scalable backend services using Python and modern APIs.
• Build intuitive frontend experiences with React and TypeScript.
• Work directly with customers to understand workflows, gather requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Own projects from discovery through deployment and continuous iteration.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering and leadership in a fast-moving startup environment.

What We're Looking For

• Commercial experience as a Software Engineer, Full Stack Engineer or Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Strong Python development skills (FastAPI or similar frameworks preferred).
• Experience with React, TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
• Comfortable taking ownership of customer-facing technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with enterprise customers.
• Passion for solving complex operational problems using AI.
