Location: Warrington, Cheshire (office-based, 3 days per week)

Reports to: Account Director

Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £38,000 DOE

The Role

We're looking for a Paid Media Manager to take ownership of campaign performance across Meta Ads and Google Ads. You'll be hands-on in the platforms every day — building, optimising, and scaling campaigns that deliver real commercial results for our clients.

This is a role for someone who lives and breathes paid media. You'll manage significant budgets, make data-driven decisions, and work closely with our Account Management, Creative, and CRM teams to drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management

  • Build, launch, and manage campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads
  • Manage monthly budgets of £10k+ per platform across multiple client accounts
  • Optimise campaigns daily — bid strategies, audience targeting, creative rotation, budget allocation
  • Run A/B tests on audiences, creatives, placements, and copy to continually improve performance
  • Monitor key metrics (CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR, CVR) and take action when performance shifts
  • Stay on top of platform changes, betas, and new features — and put them to work

Strategy & Analysis

  • Develop paid media strategies aligned with client objectives and KPIs
  • Analyse campaign data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Produce clear, insightful performance reports and present findings to the team
  • Contribute to QBRs and client presentations with data-backed recommendations
  • Identify scaling opportunities and make the case for budget increases

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Account Managers to understand client goals and translate them into campaign strategies
  • Brief the creative team on ad concepts, formats, and messaging based on performance data
  • Coordinate with the CRM team to align paid and owned channel activity
  • Share learnings and best practices with the wider team
  • Keep ClickUp updated with campaign tasks, deadlines, and status

Requirements

Essential

  • 2+ years' hands-on experience managing Meta/Facebook Ads campaigns with monthly budgets of £10k+
  • 2+ years' hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) with monthly budgets of £10k+
  • Proven track record of hitting CPL, CPA, or ROAS targets at scale
  • Strong analytical skills — you're comfortable in the data and know how to turn numbers into action
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads Manager at an advanced level
  • Understanding of conversion tracking, pixel/CAPI setup, and attribution
  • Proactive and self-motivated — you don't wait to be told what to optimise

Desirable

  • Experience in lead generation sectors
  • Experience with TikTok Ads or other paid social platforms
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, or third-party attribution tools
  • Understanding of landing page optimisation and CRO principles
  • Experience with CRM marketing and how paid and owned channels work together
  • Meta Blueprint or Google Ads certification

Personal Qualities

  • Performance-obsessed — you want every campaign to be better than the last
  • Detail-oriented — you catch the things others miss
  • Commercially minded — you understand that clicks and impressions mean nothing without results
  • Curious and adaptable — platforms change fast and you enjoy keeping ahead of the curve
  • Calm under pressure — you can manage multiple accounts and deadlines without dropping standards
  • Team player — you share what you learn and help the team get better

What We Offer

  • Salary up to £38,000 (dependent on experience)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Your birthday off
  • 2-hour "life admin" slot every month
  • £1,000 annual personal training & development budget
  • Flexible working — 3 days in the office, choose your start time between 8–10am
  • Official Meta Business Partner environment — access to cutting-edge tools and beta features
  • The opportunity to work with exciting, high-growth clients spending serious budgets
  • Professional development and career progression as the agency grows
  • A close-knit, ambitious team that values quality, initiative, and results
