This role is based in our London Farringdon office (EC1A 1AA) three days per week.

We are looking for a commercially minded pricing and change leader to help transform how pricing operates across Royal Mail while ensuring successful delivery of current pricing initiatives.

Royal Mail is investing £80m+ in transforming its ERP and commercial pricing capabilities across an £8bn revenue business. This is an opportunity to simplify, strengthen and modernise pricing across Domestic Parcels, Letters and International products.

Working across Pricing, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and Technology, this role will help shape future pricing capabilities, support business change and drive commercial outcomes through effective adoption, governance and continuous improvement.

About The Role You will:

  • Shape and challenge pricing requirements, translating strategy into clear business outcomes
  • Build alignment across commercial, operational and technology teams to secure agreement and drive delivery
  • Support the design of future pricing capabilities, simplifying processes and strengthening controls
  • Lead business readiness, deployment and adoption of pricing changes, new capabilities and system enhancements
  • Manage business and UAT testing, ensuring solutions meet agreed commercial requirements
  • Drive the consistent application of pricing processes, controls and governance across the business
  • Manage delivery risks and governance, protecting revenue realisation and commercial outcomes
  • Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities to enhance pricing capability and operational effectiveness

About You You are a pricing, commercial or business change professional with experience delivering complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.

You will bring:

  • A background in pricing, revenue management, commercial strategy or a related discipline
  • The ability to define business requirements and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
  • A track record of delivering business change, process improvement or transformation initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and challenge constructively at all levels
  • An understanding of how to work effectively with technology teams to support testing, implementation and business readiness activities
  • Strong commercial judgement, problem-solving ability and a pragmatic approach to change
  • Knowledge of governance, controls and continuous improvement practices, with the ability to balance commercial outcomes and operational effectiveness

Desirable

  • Experience with commercial systems such as Salesforce, SAP or similar platforms
  • Understanding of end-to-end pricing, billing or revenue management processes (order-to-cash)
  • Experience of large-scale transformation programmes
