Role Description This is a full-time remote role on Expert MD’s expert medicolegal and clinical team. The role typically involves reviewing medical records and clinical documentation, preparing clear and structured reports, and supporting the development of medicolegal opinions grounded in evidence and standards of care. Team members collaborate with clinical and legal stakeholders, participate in case discussions, and help ensure that all materials are accurate, concise, and suitable for use in professional and legal contexts. Day-to-day responsibilities may also include contributing to process improvements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of clinical guidelines and relevant regulations, and adhering to confidentiality and data protection requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical background (e.g., MD, DO, NP, PA, or other relevant clinical qualification) and experience in direct patient care.
  • Experience interpreting medical records, clinical documentation, and diagnostic reports, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, structured, and objective reports for professional or legal audiences.
  • Familiarity with medicolegal concepts, standards of care, and evidence-based practice; prior expert witness or case review experience is a plus.
  • Comfort working with digital tools and secure platforms in a remote environment; strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams, and manage sensitive information confidentially.
  • Commitment to professional ethics, continuous learning, and staying current with relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
