Freelance Scientific Director – Medical Communications

6-Month Freelance Contract | London | 1 Day per Week in Office

A leading London-based Medical Communications agency is looking for an experienced Scientific Director to join on a 6-month freelance contract.

This is a senior role leading the scientific direction across primarily Oncology accounts , with a strong focus on content review, scientific quality and team leadership .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of scientific/medical writers.
• Review, edit and approve high-quality scientific content.
• Provide strategic scientific direction across Oncology accounts.
• Work closely with account teams and clients.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the highest scientific and editorial standards.

About You

• Experienced Scientific Director or senior Medical Communications professional .
• Strong agency experience within Medical Communications/Medical Education.
• Excellent scientific writing, reviewing and editing skills.
• Proven experience leading teams.
• Strong

Oncology experience is highly desirable.

• Confident working with clients and senior stakeholders.
