Investment Associate

Investment Associate – Fund Selection | London

We're partnered with a leading private markets platform investing across private equity, private credit, infrastructure and secondaries.

You'll work across the whole process, from sourcing funds and conducting due diligence through to IC sign-off and ongoing oversight, with the focus on backing the strongest managers across the platform's strategies. You'll also work closely with the wider business.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying and reviewing high-performing fund opportunities
• Assessing each manager, their strategy and the associated risks
• Analysing returns, cash flows and value creation, and benchmarking managers against their peers
• Monitoring how existing investments and managers are performing, and flagging changes in strategy, team or risk
• Keeping across market activity, from fundraising and deployment to valuations, exits and liquidity
• Supporting the launch of new opportunities onto the platform

Your background

• Ideally up to two years in private markets, advisory or a related field
• Experience in private equity, private credit, infrastructure or secondaries is an advantage, though not essential
• A strong academic record and sharp analytical instincts
• A genuine curiosity for private markets, with sound investment judgement
• A second language is highly valued, particularly French, Italian, Swedish or Danish
