Investment Banking Analyst | Remote

Position: Investment Banking Modeling Analyst

Type: Contract

Compensation: $100 – $200/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Translate complex M&​A and investment banking workflows into structured, high-quality deliverables.
• Build, review, and annotate advanced financial models, including LBO, M&​A, 3-statement, and valuation models.
• Develop investor-grade materials such as IC memos, CIM sections, and diligence reports.
• Evaluate and enhance AI-generated financial outputs for transactional accuracy and analytical rigor.
• Curate structured datasets to train finance-focused AI systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to reflect authentic deal dynamics in structured outputs.
• Maintain exceptional standards of written and verbal communication across all workstreams.

Requirements

• Strong years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Development, or related fields.
• Strong live deal experience including execution, diligence, and advanced financial modeling.
• Deep expertise in valuation methodologies, including DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, and LBO modeling.
• Proven ability to produce clean, investor-ready financial analyses and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in remote, asynchronous environments.
• Authorized to work in the US, UK, or Canada.
