Fractional AI/ML Developer (Remote)

We’re looking for experienced AI/ML developers who want flexible, high-impact remote work with a venture capital firm.

At Aurora FinGroup, you’ll work with our investment and product teams to build AI agents, intelligent automation systems, and LLM-powered tools — both for our portfolio companies and internal initiatives.

What you’ll do:

Design and ship production-grade AI agents and RAG systems

Build and optimize data pipelines and LLM-powered applications

Support technical diligence on AI investment opportunities

Create internal tools that improve how we source and evaluate deals

Integrate APIs from leading model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)

Advise founders on AI architecture, evaluation, and go-to-market

What we’re looking for:

4+ years building and deploying AI/ML systems in production

Strong Python + experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar agent frameworks

Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows

Experience deploying AI applications (FastAPI, Docker, cloud platforms)

Clear communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

This is a flexible fractional role with direct exposure to early-stage AI investing and high-autonomy projects.
