  • Assess strategic fit, synergy opportunities and value creation potential
  • Prepare high-quality materials for senior leadership, Board and investors

Transaction Execution

  • Support financial aspects of negotiations and evaluate commercial implications
  • Review transaction documentation including completion accounts and price adjustment mechanisms
  • Coordinate finance workstreams with legal, tax, treasury, banking and external advisers
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the transaction lifecycle

Integration & Value Creation

  • Support integration planning and execution for acquired businesses
  • Establish financial reporting, governance and forecasting processes post-acquisition
  • Track synergy delivery and monitor performance against investment cases
  • Partner with operational teams to drive EBITDA growth and improvement initiatives
  • Manage earn-out tracking and reporting

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

  • Deliver insightful financial analysis to senior stakeholders and investor audiences
  • Support lender presentations and acquisition financing activities
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure smooth execution and integration

Candidate Profile:

Essential Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACA or CFA ideally, but will also consider ACCA, CIMA)
  • Proven experience in M&A, transaction services or corporate finance
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation and investment appraisal capability
  • Experience supporting due diligence and transaction execution processes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Commercially astute with strong business partnering skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to US transactions or North American markets
  • Experience in pharma, life sciences or private equity-backed environments
  • Knowledge of debt-funded acquisitions and financing structures
  • Understanding of treasury, tax and post-merger integration considerations
  • Experience working across multi-jurisdictional, cross-border transactions

What Success Looks Like

  • Delivery of high-quality financial analysis supporting key investment decisions
