AI Transformation Lead

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an AI Transformation Lead to join its Compliance function and drive the adoption of AI-enabled solutions across a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of AI transformation initiatives within Compliance.
• Identifying AI use cases and automation opportunities across existing processes and workflows.
• Designing and implementing AI-enabled solutions to improve control effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Evaluating emerging AI technologies and assessing their applicability within a regulated environment.
• Redesigning workflows to incorporate AI-driven decision support and intelligent automation capabilities.
• Overseeing testing, validation, deployment and ongoing optimisation of AI solutions.
• Monitoring model performance, including output validation, bias identification and model drift.
• Supporting AI governance, model lifecycle management and adherence to internal control frameworks.
• Driving adoption of generative AI capabilities across the Compliance function.
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Finance, HR and Front Office teams to deliver strategic transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Recent hands-on experience delivering AI-enabled solutions within an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), workflow automation and intelligent monitoring technologies.
• Experience with AI prompt engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with structured and unstructured data.
• Understanding of AI governance, model risk management and explainability principles.
• Experience gathering and defining business and functional requirements.
• Experience conducting gap analysis and process mapping (BPMN or similar).
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple business areas.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within Compliance, Risk or a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience within a brokerage, investment bank, asset manager or other financial institution.
• Consulting background.
• Project Management or Business Analysis certifications (PMP, Prince2 or equivalent).
