Job Description

Oncology Clinical Researcher (AI Training) About The Role What if your deep expertise in cancer clinical trials could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about oncology — influencing research that could impact millions of patients worldwide? We're looking for experienced Oncology Clinical Researchers to bring real-world scientific rigor to cutting-edge AI development.

You'll work alongside leading AI research teams to ensure the oncology data and insights powering next-generation AI models reflect genuine clinical, regulatory, and scientific standards. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — built around your schedule and your expertise.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design and evaluate oncology clinical trial protocols, covering patient enrollment, endpoint selection, and regulatory and ethical compliance
  • Analyze cancer trial data — including safety profiles, efficacy outcomes, and biomarker results — to assess treatment performance and clinical validity
  • Translate trial findings into regulatory and scientific frameworks aligned with FDA, EMA, and international submission standards
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated clinical insights for scientific accuracy, clinical relevance, and regulatory soundness
  • Help ensure that AI systems reasoning about oncology data meet the standards expected in real-world research and clinical settings

Who You Are

  • Experienced in designing and managing oncology clinical trials from protocol development through data readout
  • Deeply familiar with oncology clinical data analysis — including endpoints, safety monitoring, and biomarker interpretation
  • Knowledgeable about regulatory submission standards for agencies such as the FDA or EMA
  • Detail-oriented and methodical, with strong scientific judgment and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Background in translational oncology, medical writing, or clinical data management
  • Familiarity with AI tools or language model evaluation as an end user

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems that are transforming how cancer research is conducted
  • Influence how AI models understand, reason about, and communicate real oncology science
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, high-impact work
  • Collaborate with world-class AI research teams on problems that genuinely matter
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
