Head of Governance

About The Role As Head of Quality &​ Governance, you will lead the development and implementation of a robust quality, governance and compliance framework across Practice Plus Group's Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) services, ensuring safe, effective and patient-centred care.

Our IUC services operate across England and include GP Practices, GP Out of Hours, Clinical Assessment Services and NHS 111 services. Working closely with CQC Registered Managers, the Senior Management Team and key clinical, operational and financial leaders, you will drive quality improvement, patient safety and regulatory compliance while supporting the delivery of our strategic objectives.

You will provide expert leadership across governance, risk and assurance, supported by the Patient Safety Managers and specialist committees covering areas such as Information Governance, Infection Prevention &​ Control, Professional Standards and Medicines Management.

The role also involves building strong relationships with external stakeholders, including NHS England commissioners, healthcare partners, subcontractors and the Care Quality Commission (CQC), helping to ensure our services consistently meet the highest standards of quality and care.
