We are working with an established VC-backed digital bank with significant international ambitions to appoint a Chief Marketing Officer to lead the next phase of its growth.

The business has invested heavily in building a next-generation banking and technology platform and is now moving decisively into its growth phase. Its ambition is substantial: to build a global digital bank capable of serving 100 million customers across retail, commercial/corporate and transactional wealth propositions.

Backed by highly supportive investors with both the appetite and capital to invest materially behind growth, the business is now looking for an exceptional marketing leader who can help define where to play, how to win and how to scale .

The Role:

This is a true executive marketing and growth mandate , not a traditional corporate marketing role.

Working directly with the CEO, Board, and investors, the CMO will be responsible for developing the customer, marketing, and growth strategy for the next generation of the business.

The mandate will include:

• Defining the marketing strategy to build and develop the genuinely global digital banking proposition.
• Identifying new markets, customer segments, and material sources of revenue.
• Developing compelling propositions across

retail, commercial/corporate and transactional wealth customers .

• Creating clear product-market fit and translating customer insight into new propositions.
• Building a sophisticated, digitally led customer acquisition and growth strategy.
• Developing a distinctive international brand capable of scaling across markets.
• Working closely with Product and Technology to translate market opportunities into products.
• Building measurable commercial cases for investment and demonstrating the link between marketing, customer acquisition and new revenue.
• Acting as a strategic partner to the CEO, Board and investors as the business scales.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are specifically looking for a career marketing leader who has already experienced significant scale within a market-leading fintech, neobank or digitally native financial services business .

You are likely to have operated as a:

Chief Marketing Officer | Global Head of Marketing | Marketing Director | Chief Growth Officer

You must have held the lead marketing mandate within a relevant high-growth organisation and be able to demonstrate meaningful experience of scaling customers, revenue, brand and geographic reach.

We are particularly interested in individuals who can combine:

• Big strategic thinking with the ability to turn ideas into commercial outcomes.
• You must have

experience scaling a leading fintech, neobank, payments or digital financial services platform internationally.

• Deep expertise across customer segmentation, proposition, product-market fit and digital acquisition.
• A track record of creating significant

new customer and revenue growth .

• International expansion and global customer acquisition experience.
• Strong understanding of modern digital, social, content and performance marketing.
• Exceptional executive presence and the ability to influence CEOs, Boards and sophisticated investors.
• The imagination to challenge conventional banking models and identify entirely new sources of growth.

This role requires someone who has already been on the journey : a marketing leader who understands what it takes to move a digital financial services business through a major growth inflexion point.
